Machine Washers is a mechanical component which is used together with threaded fasteners like nuts, bolts etc. and is placed in between them. It is used to distribute the load from the nut or bolt head over a larger area which helps to keep the screw from loosening. It functions as a spring that facilitates in the prevention of increase in the distance between the fastening elements and the object to which the fasteners are clamped. Machine Washers provide axial load to joining elements in case of vibrations and thermal expansion to limit the movement. It is made up of high quality stainless steel with a polished silver coating for the prevention of corrosion.
